About the Illustrator

Michael Roche the illustrator of Zimba, received degrees from CUA and Villanova University in theater. Michael’s dream is to buy a pet rock and name it “Lily of the Field”. He will train the rock to ride a unicycle and juggle at the same time. Until then he continues to teach and produce material for both the stage and internet. Michael would like to thank Joyce, Elisabetta, his parents John and Mary Anne who provided a loving and creative household, and four brothers (Christopher, Kevin, Terry and Timmy) who would form the “Octopus Club”. And of course, endless love to his most beautiful wife Barby, and their most awesome children; Dylan, Samantha and Shane, who continue to carry on the support, love, and wonderful crazy fun times that will become memories to last a lifetime. I love you all so much.
